ABOUT
Emmanuella Maragos Zachariou is a first-generation American filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist of Greek heritage whose work explores the intersections of memory, spirituality, hidden truths, and embodied experience. Her visual language is deeply rooted in gnosis, often working with experimental and intuitive approaches to explore themes of her own encounters beyond the veil.
She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she was awarded the prestigious Silas H. Rhodes Scholarship for academic and artistic excellence. Her deep passion for sound as an intuitive and cinematic force permeates her creative process. music serves as both muse and medium within her body of work.
Emmanuella has directed and lensed a wide range of projects that reflect her singular and unique eye, highlighting her commitment to emotional and spiritual resonance. She has worked across productions of all scales, collaborating with an expansive array of clients.
At the heart of her practice, emmanuella believes in filmmaking as a ritualistic and transformational act; one that channels AUTHENTICITY into collective experience while serving as a conduit for deeper alignment with one's creative essence and inner truth.
